Message of the Blessed Virgin Mary

March 25, 2022

"Dear children! I am listening to your cry and prayers for peace. For years, satan has been fighting for war. That is why God sent me among you to guide you on the way of holiness, because mankind is at a crossroad. I am calling you to return to God and to God's Commandments that it may be good for you on earth, and that you may come out of this crisis into which you have entered because you are not listening to God.  Who loves you and desires to save you and lead you to a new life. Thank you for having responded to my call."

LETTER FROM IVAN TO THE UKRIANIAN PEOPLE

There are fake messages around the internet allegedly from Ivan. This letter to the Ukrainian people from Ivan has been confirmed by Ivan to be true. We thank Ana Shawl, head of the International Internet Prayer Group, for sharing it.

My dear people of the Ukraine,

Praise be Jesus and Mary! I wish to greet you from my heart. In June of 1981, The Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to me and 5 others in our village of Medjugorje. She came to us at a time of great suffering. It was the time when communism was at its peak causing the upheaval of nations, the stripping of human dignity and the slaughter of the innocent including the religious and clergy. Communism tried to enforce an indoctrination that God does not exist. She came to us as the Queen of Peace saying that Her Son Jesus sent Her to help us. The central message of Medjugorje is summarized in Our Lady's own words: "peace, peace and only peace.  May peace reign in the world; may peace reign in each person's heart. Peace must reign between God and man and among all men." How very much these words resonate for us all today. The Queen of Peace came to offer us consolation in our sorrows, encouragement in our despair and a firm assurance that God does truly exist and that He is with us. God hears our cries; He is our peace.

My dear friends of the Ukraine, Our Lady is with you to help you. She too, like in Medjugorje, is offering you abundant consolation in your sorrows, encouragement and hope in these grim moments and a firm assurance that God is truly with you through this ordeal. Also, the Virgin herself is personally interceding for each of you. It is Our Lady's role to intercede for Her children in need.

My dear friends, you are not forgotten. There are tens of millions of people around the world who follow the message and call of the Queen of Peace who are praying and sacrificing for you at this moment. Our Lady has so often comforted us in her messages by saying, "I am with you." My dear friends of the Ukraine, Our Mother is with you in a very special way.

In the name of Jesus and Mary I am extending my spirit of encouragement and consolation to all of you. I am personally recommending to Our Lady, the Queen of Peace, all the bishops, the leaders and the entire people of the Ukraine especially at this moment to give you the needed strength and hope. God bless you.

The Spirit of Medjugorje, April 2022

A Conversation Between Marija and Fr. Livio

The following is an excerpt from a conversation between visionary Marija and Fr. Livio Fanzaga of Radio Maria on February 25, 2022.

Our Lady's Message

"Dear Children! I am with you, and we pray together. Help me with prayer, little children, that satan may not prevail. His power of death, hatred, and fear has visited the earth. Therefore, little children, return to God and to prayer, to fasting and to renunciation, for all those who are downtrodden, poor, and have no voice in this world without God. Little children, if you do not return to God and His Commandments, you do not have a future. That is why He sent me to you to guide you. Thank you for having responding to my call."

Fr. Livio: This is one of the most serious message that Our Lady has ever given us, Marija.

Marija: Yes, it is a serious message, but also a message where Our Lady involves us and says, "let us pray together". , to say that She is with us and wants to help us, guide us! We hope that her Her presence during these forty years is a sign of peace and of Her triumph as "Queen of Peace" because satan, unfortunately, "has visited the earth with his hatred and power of death, as Our Lady says.

In these days, we are praying for many people who have recommended themselves, especially from Ukraine, who have come for Christmas. I remember one day a bishop arrived and during the apparition asked me to recommend Ukraine. Our Lady had prayed over him, heart to heart, in Aramaic, which I do not understand and when this happens, it means that it must be a secret.

We are approaching Lent, which is the time of renunciation, fasting and renewal for all of us. We have had the experience of the war in the Balkans and Our Lady told us then that "with prayers and fasting, even wars can be removed." We must increase our prayers for all of those who are under the power of the devil, who is so strong right now.

This also happens in our families. Where there is no peace, there is no serenity. Our hearts can be easily lured by the devil, who wants to use us. But we must not allow it. Our Lady has always invited us to pray for those who do not believe, and since we are one body only with God, if even one part of the body suffers, the whole body suffers. So, let us pray for our Ukrainian and Russian brothers — same people, and same faith. We all have one God, and we are waging war against each other. This is the greatest tragedy, that gives me enormous sadness. We pray that hatred does not prevail.

Fr. Livio: I, too, have seen, especially at Christmas in Medjugorje, the faith of this people who climbed Krizevac even in the winter with bare feet, and I believe that Our Lady cannot but help a people with such great faith, and courage.

Marija: I had a strong experience with this people that I will remember as long as I live. A group of Orthodox and Catholic (from Ukraine) came to pray for Christian unity in a bus. Halfway here, the bus caught fire and, despite the explosion of the means of transport, everyone survived. Despite having lost all their luggage, they wanted to continue the pilgrimage. They waited for the new bus and when it arrived after five days, we welcomed them with clothing and garments given by my Italian friends, which they gladly gave up. A lady told me how her rubber shoes had melted during the fire and now she arrived in Medjugorje barefoot. She had, therefore, worn that pair of leather shoes (given to her in Medjogorje for the first time in her life! Who see so much poverty in this people, also notice their great spiritual wealth and their spirit of sacrifice, and I am ashamed. I hope, as you say, Father Livio, that the Lord will listen to their prayers, restoring peace to their peoples as soon as possible.

Fr. Livio: Our Lady says, "Help me with prayer, little children, that satan may not prevail...

Marija: Yes, this is precisely what Our Lady said: "Pray together with me...help me with prayer" because unity is strength and, in this moment, we must be united with God and Our Lady and ask for this grace so that the power of satan, of hate, death, and fear will not prevail...

Fr. Livio:  satan is a lying force; Mary has unending love ...

Marija: Yes, we are aware that evil exists, but it will not prevail, because we are instruments of peace with prayer, with our actions, and with our life.  For entire interview go to: www.malytv.tv

Annual Message to Mirjana on March 18, 2022

“Dear children, with a motherly love I am calling you---full of strength, faith and trust—look towards my Son. Keep opening your hearts to Him and do not be afraid, because my Son is the Light of the world and in Him is peace and hope. That is why, anew, anew I am calling you to pray for those of my children who have not come to know the love of my Son. So that my Son, with His light of love and hope, may illuminate also their hearts; and you, my children, that He may strengthen and give you peace and hope. I am with you. Thank you."

ST. JOSEPH

Saint for Real Estate Transactions

Small plastic statues of St. Joseph have become one of the hottest items in religious gifts shops. Prospective homebuyers bury the statuette in the lawn of the house they want to buy, the head pointing toward the house. Homeowners wanting to sell buy the statuette, too, but with the head pointing toward the street. It is one of the odder saint-related phenomena of our time, but no one can say with absolute certainty how the trend began.

The link between St. Joseph and houses is not far-fetched; as the husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the foster father of Jesus, St. Joseph has always been associated with a happy home. One likely source for the statue-burring custom comes from the life of another saint who was intensely devoted to St Joseph. St. Andre' Bessette (1845-1937), a French Canadian Brother of Holy Cross, dreamed of honoring his favorite saint by building a shrine on Mount Royal overlooking Montreal. He had a plot of land in mind, but the owners refused to sell.

After years of fruitless negotiations, Brother Andre' took a pocketful of St. Joseph medals and buried them all over the piece of land he wanted for his shrine. The next time Brother Andre approached the owner with an offer, they accepted.

The link to Brother Andre' seems more plausible when one notices that Pope John Paul II declared Brother Andre "Blessed" in 1982, thereby garnering him new attention especially among Catholics just across the border in the United States: the custom of burying St. Joseph statues began to mushroom in the U.S. about 1984.

Today, St. Joseph is such an essential part of Catholic devotional life that it is hard to imagine when he was not one of the most popular saints on the calendar. Yet devotions to St. Joseph got off to a very slow start. During the first centuries of the church, so many heretical splinter groups denied the divinity of Christ that Church authorities felt it was more important to emphasize the doctrine that God was Christ's father than to venerate the man who was Christ's foster father.

Although there are isolated examples of St. Joseph receiving some recognition in Egypt, in England and in Germany, the Church did not grant him official recognition until 1479 when Pope Sixtus IV established March 19 as the feast of St. Joseph. From that point, devotion to St. Joseph increased dramatically. The Franciscans, the Carmelites and the Jesuits all promoted St. Joseph. St. Teresa of Avila (1515-1582), who was particularly attached to him, said of St. Joseph in her Autobiography, "With other saints it seems the Lord has given them grace to be of help in one need, where as with this glorious saint I have experience that he helps in all our needs."

As if to make up for centuries of lost time, the hierarchy and the faithful rushed to heap new honors on St. Joseph. He is the guardian of families, the patron of workers, the patron of a happy death. His name was added to the Litany of the Saints in 1726; in 1870, Blessed Pope Pius IX named him patron of the Universal Church. Pope Pius XII called upon St. Joseph to join in the struggle against communism by making May 1 the feast of St. Joseph the Worker; in 1962, Blessed John XXIII inserted Joseph's name into the Roman Canon of the Mass; and earlier this year, Pope Francis confirmed a decision originally made by Pope Benedict to include St. Joseph permanently in Eucharistic Prayers II, III and IV.

St. Joseph is the patron saint of fathers, families, carpenter workers, married couples, the dying and for victory over communism.

Most Recently St. Joseph was Called on Again

Five years ago on Jan. 1, The Holy Day of 'Mary the Mother of God,' three caretakers of  'The Cross on the Hill' near Benezette, Pa. buried a small plastic statue of St. Joseph and prayed for his intercession to obtain an acre of land beside The Cross. We didn't miss the opportunity to ask for Mother Mary's intercession as well. In October, after almost four years of waiting I said to the guys, `Hey, it's been four years and we've seen no action out of St. Joseph we might as well dig him up. They said, "God's time is not like our time, we want Him to be like a microwave oven but he can be more like a slow cooker —just keep praying a while longer.'

Low and behold that December on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Dec. 8, 2020 Pope Francis announced it would be declared the year of Saint Joseph thru December 8 the following year. Three years prior we had been in contact with the two brothers who owned the land in PA. but reside in California and asked that if they ever considered selling the acre we needed to protect The Cross to let us know. Their mother, who loved The Cross, leased us one of her nine acres for a dollar a year. Three years went by and we heard nothing from her two sons who had inherited the land. Then another surprise on March 19, the feast Day of Saint Joseph, we got a call from the men in California saying they knew from day one if they ever decided to sell it would be to 'The Holy Family' the small group that maintains "The Cross on the Hill.'

Would you believe after months of road blocks we were handed the deed to, not just one, all nice acres on December 8, Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary 2021.

Thanks to Pope Francis, Immaculate Mary the Mother of God and our Mother, and of course St. Joseph head of The Holy Family. Many thanks to Noel and the families in California.

Note: When we tell this story to others, invariably they come back with a story of how much St. Joseph helped them, a family member or friends in buying or selling property. The Cross on The Hill is at 2041 Mt. Zion Rd, Weedville, PA — near Benezette. A very peaceful, scenic place. In Holy Scripture, Mt. Zion means Jerusalem or God's dwelling place — indeed, He is in this place.

"The Cross on the Hill' — Established via spiritual direction of Father John 'Ted" Carter of Erie, PA — is open dawn to dusk — every day of the year.

Saint Joseph the Carpenter, you adopted and raided Jesus Our Lord, You are the Patron Saint of Victory over communism; we pray you will adopt the citizens of the Ukraine and bring them to victory over the evil communists.
